Beside its tourism objects, Nganjuk also has some handicraft industries
that produces some unique and beautiful handicraft, including; earthen
pitcher, bag plait, weave textile, accessories, etc.
Leather Puppet
Puppet is the famous traditional performance in Java island. There
are many kind of Puppet, such as; human puppet, wooden puppet, leather
puppet, etc. All of those puppets usually played in special event.
Nganjuk is one of area that produces leather puppet.
This kind of puppet is made of animal leather, such as; kambing or
deer. The processes of leather puppet are choose good leather, designed
it as puppet, dried and begin to color.
Wooden Puppet
The other kind of puppet is Wooden Puppet. Nganjuk handicraft industry
also produces this kind of puppet. This wooden puppet has unique form
with beautiful colors. There are many tourists want to buy and collect
this puppet because those designs are unique and special.
